Nonprofit November 3: Sulzbacher Center

Updated: Jan 18

Hi everyone! Today, we’re proud to continue Non-Profit November by shining a light on Sulzbacher Center in Jacksonville - a beacon of hope for individuals and families lacking access to healthcare.

In the 1990s, a homelessness crisis exploded, leading to the opening of Sulzbacher Center in 1995. Drawing inspiration from Mr. I. M. Sulzbacher, this center stands out as they treat each person with dignity and work toward sustainable change rather than just temporary relief. Going above and beyond providing meals and beds, Sulzbacher Center embodies continuum care by providing affordable access to housing, healthcare, and opportunities for economic growth. From job trainings to educational programs, they provide individuals with a community and support system, restoring hope and opportunity within the community.
