Jacksonville wouldn’t be Jacksonville without the St. Johns River, the longest river in Florida. St. Johns Riverkeeper works to protect the ecosystems within and the health of the St. Johns River. Through river patrol, educational resources and programs, and boat/field trip experiences, St. Johns Riverkeeper helps boost community pride and appreciation of the world right in our backyards. By monitoring water quality and promoting river stewardship, they ensure that healthy ecosystems are sustained for future generations.
